Sofa Rebar

From the Rebar Fantasies collection comes a Sofa, a lyrical expression of rest, contrast, and the strange comfort of sitting on something strong.

Wrought from coarse rebar in vivid violet, the frame sweeps out in sharp angular lines that fan across the floor like a web. Resting inside it is a long, soft seat in bright orange, hand-tufted button by button, with a raised headrest at one end and a small ledge at the other. Hard steel meets soft cushion, and cool geometry meets warm colour. Light passes through the open frame, and the shadows it throws on the floor become a second design beneath you.

A Sofa is a tribute to the pause in a busy day, to the idea that strength and comfort belong together, and to the simple luxury of lying back and letting the room fall quiet.
