Baby of Renty, The German Shepherd

From the Rebar Fantasies collection of ZeeKollection comes Baby of Renty, a lyrical expression of loyalty, youth, and the promise of the strength still to come, and a inspiration from one of our Parent pieces, our beloved Renty.

Wrought from coarse rebar in a deep, glossy plum, this young German Shepherd sits upright and attentive, ears raised and head turned as if it has just caught a sound it wants to understand. It carries the same sharp, angular lines as Renty, the great shepherd it descends from, but in a lighter, smaller frame, still learning how to hold itself. Light passes through the open lattice, and the shadows scatter across the floor like a pattern of small stars.

Baby of Renty is a tribute to the next generation of guardians, to the bond that passes from one loyal heart to another, and to the quiet confidence of a young dog that already knows what it was born to be.
